Portrait of Andy Warhol, one of my favourite and most inspiring artists. I remember the first time a saw a real Warhol in San Francisco and the way it inspired me and made me feel. Especially the scale so I had to go big on this one! He was very monochromatic in real life, with his art often being very colourful, so I decided to make Andy himself very colourful, and his glasses and leather jacket monochromatic. As Andy famously said: "Everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes". Let’s go!
