A commission piece for one of my oldest friends. Years ago I was sitting in my friend’s kitchen, drinking too many whiskies and telling him that one day I was going to be an artist and I was going to make a piece on his grandad’s photo that was hanging on the wall. I would only ever talk about making art after a few drinks but otherwise kept it to myself and made art in my mind. Fast forward a half a decade and I finally had the opportunity to make good on my word. Fred will now hang as a family heirlomb on and on for generations to come.
