Years ago when I was going to college and living in Miami, I was hanging out with my neighbor and I was having a whinge after having a bad day when he offered me 5 sage philosophical words. “Sometimes you have a good day, and sometimes it be like that, sometimes you have a bad day, and sometimes it be like that too.” Those 5 words really had an impact on me and is a philosophy I subscribe to to this day, and is a saying we use in our household all the time. Another way to say it is some days you’re the pigeon and some days you’re the statue. Some days nothing goes right and you just get shit on, then some days you fly among the clouds, and sometimes it be like that.
